We started our meeting on 10th August 2009 with Lynda Lee sharing thought of the evening, on time management. President then welcomed and invited the guests to introduced themselves.
There were 5 guests at last night's meeting. Jordan Tan was one of them who is no stranger as he was our member before he moved to Kuala Lumpur. Liew Hon Min was also no stranger and has attended our meeting a few times. This time he asked for two weeks before he submit his membership application form to Vice President Membership, Dr Joe Yap.
Louis Lim was another familiar face to most of us as he was the photographer who took more than 500 photos during the club's recent installation. Two total strangers were Daniel Foo and David Chong who are both from Kuala Lumpur and in Tawau for a short holiday. They found us through our club webpage (http://tmtawau.blogspot.com). They found us no stranger at all after getting along well with us.

The meeting took a break for dinner and celebrated Lucy Lo's birthday. Lucy got a surprise kiss from the fatherly Dr Joe! Lee Chye Ewe slowed down his photograph taking to give them more time!!
The second segment of the meeting continued with Lee Chye Ewe delivered a speech entitled RM1, comparing human values and money values. His evaluator was President Rosslin.
Patricia Chai and Liew Hon Min shared jokes during the Humour Session later. General evaluation was conducted by Lee Chye Ewe.
Putting on a brand new dress for the evening was Toastmaster of The Evening, Grace Yong.
The meeting ended with President invited the guests to give their views. She then thank everyone and bid good night to the guests.

The members stayed back for the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM went on fine and debated on the proposal from Area Governor Eleanor Pang requesting the Club to host the coming Division K Semi-Annual Convention. Eleanor Pang and President took turns to offer their views. Lee Chye Ewe then offered his detail writing on how a convention is organised.
After a long debate, the Club rejected the Area Governor's proposal as the time was too short and the club lack the necessary manpower to run the convention.
